Some really excellent staff, but a few who have the wrong attitude towards patients especially elderly patients. Not all elderly patients are affected by dementia and can and will report these few bad apples. I feel sorry for patients who can't stick up for themselves.
Having been in a few hospitals Glasgow Royal Infirmary was clean but run down. As far as staff goes a bit of humility towards patients would not go amiss and the this attitude of "we are busy" is not good enough when you're telling them your relative is in pain and distress.
Patients don't ask for help unless they need it. Staff maybe have qualifications but some need to treat others as they or their relatives would expect to be treated.
"A few bad apples"
