"Gallbladder removal 9/11/16"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital

I cannot fault the treatment I received from the surgeon the anaesthetist and all of the nursing staff. Two days after the op I did not require pain relief. Now 4 and a half weeks later my wounds are hardly noticeable. Prior to my operation I had 4 gallstone attacks. Three of which I had to go to A&E for pain relief at the William Harvey hospital which again the treatment was superb. So approximately 18 months after my first attack I have had my gallbladder removed. I would like to say thank you to the NHS and all of the amazing hard working committed caring staff.

Gallstone attacks can be supremely painful, but I am glad you had the appropriate pain relief at the time.

Thank you for your kind words about the staff who assisted with your eventual gallbladder removal.

it is good to hear that you recovered so well.

Best wishes for your continued good health.
