About: Alexandra Hospital

Consultant exceptional. Chester Ward (although, saying that I only experienced my room) desperately needs refurbishing, not what you would expect from a private hospital, reminded me more of a tired NHS one. Was in 3 nights, room didn't get cleaned from day 2 so bins overflowing & no fresh towels ( which were really old & grey having been washed hundreds of times) until I asked. Hand gel was empty the whole time, despite telling staff on more than one occasion. Nursing staff very good, but sometimes didn't see anyone for hours on end. Cafe (accordingly to my husband) needs improvement. Not enough fresh food. As I said at the beginning my Consultant was exceptional so you choose your Consultant rather than the hospital. Come on Alexandra, pull your socks up!!
