I am attending at the Postgraduate Centre at Halton Hospital this morning for training on the Patient Opinion website.
I had great difficulty in finding a place to park, and when I did, it was on waste ground which was very bumpy and muddy.
I still had to pay a parking charge for this privilege.
The payment machine was a long way from where I had to park, and it took me about five minutes to walk there and back to the car, negotiating the mud and the puddles.
I then was asked to say, in advance, how long I would be in the car park, which clearly is difficult to do, so I had to pay the bigger charge of £2.50.
Can I suggest that they either do not charge for parking on waste ground so far from machines, or use the revenue to pay for more machines and to tarmac the waste ground.
