I have not been kept informed about anything.Did not know anything that was being done.
Given impression anything shared with psychiatrist was confidential. Never told about such things as team meetings, multidisciplinary meetings etc Information was given not only to psychiatrists but psychologists, social services and more.
Students were also present. When I discovered what had happened I commented that I felt my permission should have been given for students to be present. I received a very curt response that they have to learn. The exact response was given by 2 people in different places.
I felt like responses to different subjects were rehearsed. Maybe not but the attitude seemed the same. Because of extremely incorrect information being given the police were involved. For this even dates were wrong. This caused my family to be approached.
I was misled by a key worker beforehand that the police were only coming because he was "interested" In effect I was unknowingly interviewed.
A mental health assesssment was given to me by my CPN 3 months after it was dated. 13 of 18 pages were incorrect including housing, personal information, and even my gender. 2 different names also given.
The "corrected" came with 3 pages missing. 3 yrs later and 4 attempts it was still incorrect.
In my opinion the service and treatment by everyone involved was disgraceful. I told the psychiatrist I thought the whole process was conducted like the Secret Services.
I am no longer a patient of Tameside and Glossop. At great expense I have gone private where I was also treated for PTSD directly related to these incidents.
