"I was seen farely quickly after ..."

About: Lincoln County Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was seen farely quickly after suffering multiple epileptic fits.

What could be improved

Staff seemed ill trained, were not organised, didn't care about the patient, didn't give me any paperwork or information, refused to make referrals despite admitting I desperately needed to see a neurologist and whilst I even had a seizure in the hospital the nurse showed little interest and just walked off.

Anything else?

Afterwards I went to a better hospital in another area in the country and they were shocked by my treatment at Lincoln hospital, and I received far better care where I now have a team of professionals helping me. Thank god for the presence of good hospitals.

I am sorry that I am replying so long after you left this feedback but having in recent months set up a system tot regularly use patient Opinion we are also looking back at older postings to ensure we still listen and learn from them.

I am very sorry for your experience - it would be difficult for me to comment further after such a long time - staff are likely to have changed and new care pathways have been developed, including with our neurologists and I hope that should you ever need our services again you would see significant improvements.

Please once again accept my apologies but also thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback - it is important to us.
