"Kindness and skill from all at Rotherham fracture clinic"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I fractured my wrist and went to Rotherham General A&E, then the fracture clinic B3. When I arrived I went to emergency reception. I wasn't sure if it was the right place to go, because after I gave my details I had to wait a long time to be seen.

When I was seen the nurse who assessed me was fantastic. She was brilliant - really good to me. I am so grateful to all of them for the kindness and skill they showed in treating me. I would like to thank all the staff at the fracture clinic and from orthopaedics and the theatre staff and the triage nurse. Many thanks.

Thank you for your kind comments.

We endeavour to see patients as soon as possible, with almost 60% of patients being seen treated within 2 hours of arriving in A&E (The Government target being within 4 hours). However, we continue to strive to reduce this time.
