Very quiet hospital. In fact I didn't see any other patients waiting in OPD and very few staff. Public transport leads a lot to be desired. I had an appointment at 10.30am and arrived 15 mins prior but when I spoke to the receptionist I was told my appointment had been cancelled. Not impressed.

That your appointment had been cancelled without you being informed before you set out is extremely disappointing and I sincerely apologise for this on behalf of the Trust.
Sometimes cancellations are out of our control if a member of staff is sick on the day, but we absolutely understand the frustration that must be caused.
I hope that your appointment is rescheduled very quickly.
Regrettably the hospital does tend to be under utilised, which is a shame, given the keenness of the population to have the new hospital on that site, which is not well served by public transport currently.
