25 May 2010. My son visited Northwick Park Hospital in accident and emergency department where the new locations for minor treatemnt is now located as the premises accross the A&E for patients to be seen by GP was closed. Before my son visited, I contacted our GP's surgery and for the first time I found out that my son's name was removed from the Doctors list by NHS as he was at University in Leicester. He left University in February 2009. As my son was vomitting after eating food and not been registered with the GP in London, he attended Northwick Park for assistance but he was turned away and was asked to make an appointment with the GP after registering with the new GP. As soon as I found that out that he was not seen to, I contacted my son's old GP in London, Preston Medical Centre, who kindly at short notice re-registered him as the patient and gve him the medication. It is not acceptable in this situation, when my son attended he was turned away. If the department he visited needs further clarification n this matter, please ask them to send me an email urgently and I will respond back at my earliest convenience.
