"Clinical and administrative failure"

About: Western Eye Hospital / Ophthalmology

Have attended since October last year.

in that time three eye haemorrhages (none previously).

Laser treatment was painful and ineffective (had second haemorrhage 10 days after treatment ended).

Was telephoned that my VR clinic appt in September was cancelled and rescheduled to October.

Received no letter with details of new appt, so I phoned in October and was told there was no such appt I had 'failed to attend the appt in September'. i said this was because I had been told it had been cancelled and was told earliest appt available 23 November.

Fifteen minutes ago I received another telephone call from WEH to say this vrappointment had been cancelled (or has it - who knows?) and would get letter with new date .

In the meantime I had my third haemorrhage (two weeks after my WEH diabetes appt who did not detect any problems).

I am not impressed..
