"L5/S1 Nerve Block with Caudal Epidural"

Following consultation for lower back pain and previous osteopathic treatment, I was admitted as a day patient for back injection. Attending early morning reception who were very courteous, a porter escorted me to my private room. A procession of very professional healthcare specialists including multiple nurses, then a food order taken, anesthetist and consultant visits were very professional, friendly and reassuring. After a couple of hours, I walked to theatre where I was sedated and put under without any fuss or both, staff making me feel comfortable and giving patient attention at all times. When I woke up after what felt like no time at all, I was attended and checked, fed, and finally ready to return home via taxi in several hours. Overall exceeded expectations and left a highly favourable opinion of BMI Princess Margaret Hospital. I have no reservations in using or recommending them again in future. Many thanks to all the staff who made me felt welcome and took care of me during my brief stay.
