Having been referred to the hospital by Boots Opticians in Broad Mead , and told there was a tear in my left eyeball , I found that although there was a lot of waiting to be done, the attention I received from the above doctor and their supporting staff was beyond reproach.
The doctor was able to give me Laser (Retinoscopy ?) which was to repair the hole in my left eyeball .. I was amazed to find this treatment to be available shortly after my diagnosis , I.E. after the remaining patients still in A&E had been seen . Their dedication to my welfare was most impressive . My treatment by the hospital may not be over yet , as I have to return on the 1st December , but I wanted to set my gratitude on record , which I hope will be passed on to all those concerned supporting the doctor on that duty shift .
Many thanks , Ian Harding
"Great care shown to me by the doctor 12th..."
