"Very poor care"

About: Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

(as a relative),

My elderly father went to Perry Tree Centre for rehab, it was very disappointing on a number of fronts:

1. he had very little walking practice

2. he had severe diarrhoea that seem to go untreated and he just got weaker

3. collapsed due to high levels of oxycodene leading to kidney failure so went back into hospital

4. food was disgusting

5. he was branded anti social as he did not want to sit in dining area

6. I went to collect his possessions 24 hours after hospital admission, to find his room exactly as he left it: soiled sheets; uneaten food etc
