"Neck lump"

Got referred to wythenshawe after an ultrasound scan at Trafford general. waited ten mins to see the consultant who then booked me for another ultra sound scan which took another 6 weeks,then got my appointment for the scan, the same day I was due back to see my consultant but two hours after the consultation!! Rang ent cancelled the consultation,went for the scan,radiographer referred me for an Mri scan,I informed the radiographer I was back to see the consultant in two weeks in which the radiographer replied they would push it through for then but if I didn't arrive I would still need to go to see the consultant. Scan never arrived,went for consultation,waited two hours only to be told the scan hadn't even been booked!! Consultant said they would book me another,went for the scan four weeks later,waited another three weeks,,went back to see the consultant ,waited an hour and a half, saw the consultant who then told me the scan results weren't there, they been lost and the person who deals with the results has now left the hospital! Pulling my hair out I went back to my gp who chased my results on my behalf. This whole fiasco started in May and finished in August! The hospital never got back to me regarding my scan results and without my gps intervention I would still be none the wiser!What utter chaos your ent department is! Shame on you!
