"Connect Physio are a joke!!!"

About: Dewsbury & District Hospital

I have been a patient with the MSK department in Dewsbury Health Centre for around 5 years, due to a shoulder injury.

I am waiting to see a consultant regarding surgery and had an x-ray.

However, between me having the x-ray and trying to make a review appointment, the service provided has been changed from Locala to Connect Physio.

All of a sudden, they can't find a record of me, and I am now having to go see my doctor again for a brand new referral.

The website says the average new referral time is 92 days.

This is absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable.

So, I can say that the service provided by the healthcare personnel themselves is first rate, however, the administration and business side seems to have forgotten that they should be concerned with customer care.

The MSK service is now provided by Connect Health, who have been awarded the contract by the Clinical Commissioning Group. Conerns regarding the service need to be referred to either the CCG or Connect Health ( generalenquiries@connecthealth.co.uk )
