"Excellent eye clinic experience"

About: St James's University Hospital / Ophthalmology

The reception staff were welcoming and directed me to the waiting area. Even though there were a large number of patients, I was dealt with within 30 minutes of arriving and was seen reasonably promptly by the consultant, who was extremely professional and carried out the examination with care and courtesy. I was surprised when they indicated that they could carry out a laser correction process to deal with the opacity issue immediately. They explained the procedure and indicated the potential risks before securing my approval to proceed. The process was painless and accomplished with considerable speed resulting in much improved vision. I am delighted with the result and I am impressed with the very professional approach and care shown not only by the consultant but also the support staff who carried out the pre-assessment process. My thanks to all concerned.
