"A&E/Acute Medical Unit A"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Accident and emergency

On 19/10/16, I attended A&E for chest pains. From the receptionist, the triage nurse and the exceptional casualty Dr, I have to say my treatment was excellent. I was subsequently transferred to Acute Medical Unit A. I was kept informed of what was going on at all times. The junior Dr and the Consultant were outstanding in their care and professionalism and I have to say that one member of staff was exceptional in her care and assistance,going above and beyond the call of duty to help me. I have over 12 years experience in the NHS and in Field Medical Care and all I can say is the attention I received was first rate.
