"Positive experience when admitted for an endoscopy"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France

(as the patient),

I received a call from the booking office for an EUS procedure, the appointment was booked and the lady (Joan I think) was so helpful even when I called her early one morning before she should have answered the phone.

The Procedure was done by Dr Penman and his fantastic team, each and every one put me at ease & looked after me very well.

Next was my overnight stay in the day ward, couldn't believe the care the nurses showed me & the food was very nice. Discharge next day went well.

Dr Penman gave me the name of a drug to help with my symptoms & said I should ask my GP to prescribe. Called GP today they couldn't prescribe without confirmation from Dr Penman so I called his secretary & just as I thought she would be, very helpful & arranged for Dr Penman to contact my GP.

Sorry I can't remember all the names, just wanted to let you all know I am a 100% satisfied patient.

Dear Spa experience,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experiences with us following your endoscopy at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. I was really pleased to read how Dr Penman and his team were able to put you at ease and how well they looked after you.

I was sorry to hear that you had to stay overnight and pleased to hear about the nurses cared for you and how nice the food was and being able to go home the following day.

I have passed your kind words back to the team and like me am sure they will be delighted to hear that you are a 100% satisfied patient.
