My daughter Samantha is very upset & disappointed about the diagnosis &:treatment she has received from the consultant (name unknown) since her arrival in the early hours of 27th October 2016 to Ward L1. My daughter's ongoing condition means she is always in constant pain. She manages this through prescribed medication inc morphine. As a result her pain threshold is high. Despite being admitted with extremely severe head pain( endured for the last 18 days) & now making it difficult to speak- the consultant has been unsympathetic and somewhat unconcerned by this. Noone has given her any reasons so far as to the cause of the additional suffering .As at 6pm tonight 27th Oct she is still waiting for the promised mri scan. The consultant hasn't revisited since lunchtime. My daughter feels let down & further distressed as a result.I appreciate our NHS is under great pressure however I can't accept a consultant giving my daughter the impression that they aren't concerned & doesn't care about her suffering. Please help her.David.
