I recently had a set of eye injections. I had some concerns about the after effects, I have spoken about this before. The doctor's procedure was to dry the surface iodine away from the eyelid after the three minutes wait, before opening the eye. This is what I know should be done and works very well with little after effects. But most injections you are asked to open the eye before the surface iodine has been dried-up causing the unpleasant after effects. I have asked on a number of occasions for this to be done with no joy as if I did not know what I was talking about. I think a little talk about the procedure to get everyone doing the same procedure would be good. My last injection was good no discomfort thank you
