"All parties unsure what is happening to my current health status"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Stroke NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service)

(as the patient),

I have been having left sided numbness with numerous symptoms along with this for about 2 weeks.

I called my GP surgery at 1: 30pm only to receive a call at 5: 45pm explainging my left sided numbness and slurred speech, because the GP was about to close they then asked me any more problem's to call NHS 24 as I did when I spoke to the helpful lady she then asked me to attend A+E as she suspected I had a stroke.

Attended A&E was seen to very quickly by a nurse then to a emergency ward. My heart rate was over 100 and eyes were dilated to then be asked if I had taken any substance's understandably I said no. I would have rather have seen a qualified doctor not a junior doctor and a pregnant nurse with no disrespect they didn't understand what was happening and decided to put it down to a anxiety attack even though I was calm and collective.

Have been seen by a doctor at the hospital to then be told I don't need a CT scan but now a MRI scan awaiting for this. All parties have no idea what is going on and as I understand no one is a miracle worker I would rather get this seen to and a diagnosis then sit here like a duck with numbness in one side struggling to do day to day activities.

All parties have been friendly and kind but would have seen the compassion to sorting my health off instead of passing it off with this and that.
