I was away for Hajj pilgrimage and came back with serious infection and pneumonia.
NHS gets so much negative press.
I was admitted to ward 51 as they had to make sure it was not a Middle East virus I had.
Here Jim, Elaine Kay, Margaret and wilson looked after me.
Running in to help every time I had a coughing fit.
Staff and family had to wear special gear and masks.
Once the results came back and showed I was negative and had bad pneumonia
I'm also diabetic and have only 1 kidney.
Staff worked so hard to get me better.
I came home after 4 days.
Unfortunately I got worse and ended back in hospital in the Victoria kirkcaldy admissions 1.
Here Dr Sara, consultant winters Stephanie Rosie all worked so so hard to give me comfort.
They put nebulisers on to help my breathing.
Everything was done ASAP.
I was then moved to ward 43 where each and every member deserves an OBE
The true heroes of this country.
I was very sick my coughing fits would leave me exhausted and unable to breath
The nurses would come running helping me get comfortable.
Dr Mona, consultant Ian Murray, nurses Michelle, Sisah, Sharon, Tina, Nicky, Claire, Lauren all lovely and helpful.
The auxiliary nurses are lovely too.
Mary, Evelyn, Karen, Josie, all big smiles always offering tea and coffee.
When Mary found out I was very sick and had no appetite she brought me an orange apple and a banana to make me eat something.
The love, care, attention the empathy in their attitudes comes from their beautiful hearts.
We are blessed to have the NHS.
I say it's their kind attitude that is making me feel better not the medicine.
I'm still in they feel I need to stay till I can cope with it all.
I know we have bed shortages.
But they are not throwing me out till they know I can manage myself.
I will get better and go home soon.
I will never forget the love and kindness of the staff.
They are so busy 12 and half hour shifts but the smile never leaves their faces.
I see the tiredness but they never complain.
Thank you all especially ward 43 for your kind loving caring attitudes ..
My family also are so grateful to you all.
Sisah thank you for cuddling my sister when I took a turn and she was crying so much. you are all angels sent by God on earth to help other humans.
I will never forget what you guys have done and are still doing for me.
God bless you all.
