Early last year (2009), I went to the gynaecology department for the results of an ultrasound and ended up being pressurised into having minor surgery (local anesthetic) there and then which was exceedingly painful. I was not fully told of the implications nor was I told about what would happen in the future. I honestly screamed in pain during it, proper screaming, and nothing was done my either the nurse or doctor. I left the hospital bleeding without any bandages and had to take two days from work due to such severe pain and bleeding. I wasn't given any medications either. I was really upset by my treatment at this hospital and am seeking a different hospital to use as I am still in pain to this day and would like to find out whether what they did to me is the cause. I was told about the website and how good it is, so I thought I would leave my comment to help others make an informed choice.
