"So impressed with treatment, efficiency and kindness"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I was recently taken to casualty from Gatwick Airport for suspected TIA. Immediately seen by assessment and within a few minutes had ECG, blood tests and later on CT scan. The casualty doctor took time to listen to my story which is complicated by a chronic sinus infection and had just started antibiotics.

He and the rest of the staff introduced themselves and kept me informed all the way through. The casualty department was spotlessly clean and I was out of there in five hours having had lots of tests. So impressed with treatment, efficiency and kindness.

Update posted by Jak77 (the patient)

Further tests at doctor has indicated shingles in the eye and not TIA, which is a relief.
