"Completely dis-satisfied"

I telephoned this 'service' as I was finding it almost impossible to get an appointment at my GP. I could have saved myself the expense and effort because this department gave me no help whatsoever, they told me that I'd need a referrel from my GP - yet I'd already explained that was why I had contacted them. I suggested that since neither my GP or The Diabetic Unit were no help then perhaps I should present myself to A&E and was informed that would be the best solution. Not surprising the NHS gets bad reviews if this department is representative. I'm type 1 diabetic and my blood sugar levels are chaotic I feel I will be visiting A&E in an ambulance very soon, not as an oupatient.
