I collapsed at home with multiple organ failure and was moved to the cardiac support ward where I went into cardiac arrest. I had spent 13 hours in a corridor waiting for a bed and suffered the indignity of having to use a commode in front of strangers'Three attempts of CPR were carried out (where was the defibrillator?) I was then sent to ICU where I cannot fault the staff for the care while in a coma. I was then sent to an all male ward where I was left with my body exposed and the curtains left open.(I am female) I am still waiting for appointments with a cardiac specialist and all of my hospital test results and am not holding my breath.
