"A&E Unit Poor quality of medical professionalism"

About: Royal Free Hospital / Accident and emergency

In April 2016, I had to A&E Unit to remove my appendix and it was a disaster.

And then, this week, I have been suffering with a strong pain and vomiting on my right side abdomen for one week.

Thus, Saturday,

I called the 1111.

They gave me an urgent appointment to be seen by GP, who requested me to go to A&E Unit for an investigation.

They adviced me to go to Royal Free Hospital as I had had my surgery in April 2016. I told them that I did not want to go to Royal Free because I had a very bad experience. They strongly adviced me to go there as they have my notes. GP requested an investigation for renal colic? UIT? acute Abdomen ?

I went to A&E Unit with a strong pain on my right side my abdomen. They only took a blood and urine example.

The consultant phoned the surgeon. They told me ' you have blood in your urine. This is normal. I am still waiting for the blood results. I am going to call the surgeon department'.

It came the surgeon register who operated in April 2016. note: I had written a complaint because the professionalism during my admission at A&E Unit in April 2016. They came and said ' your white blood count and CRPS is ok. I think that you have is Chronic Pelvic Pain.

For that, we need an ultrasound and this is emergency and we don't have ultrasound. You don' t have ultrasound in A&E Unit?

You go home and if you have 38 degree temperature and then back. I'll request the ultrasound. And then, I insisted that I want an MRI too and then, they agreed to have MRI in 2 or 3 weeks'.

They sent me a home without any discharge letter, whole investigation and medication to treat the problem. I asked for a copy of my blood results. When I arrived at home, I noticed that the blood results have shown: High bilirubin serum, blood in my urine, high red blood count, asterix GFR and aspartate aminostransferse serum. and they sent me a home without any investigation and medication. They based their investigation in post-operative infection. Pain on your right side is not only infection.

Could be liver problem? and/or

Urine Infection ? Renal Colic? I had strong pain on my right side all night long and I couldn't sleep because that.

I am starting to have temperature ( 37.5). According to the resister ( general surgeon), I only can come back to A&E Unit if I have 38.5 temperature or more. Today,

I have to go to another A&E Unit because the lack of professionalism in A&E Unit at Royal Free Hospital. Also, they don't have ultrasound scanner in A&E Unit.

I strongly recommend ' don't go to the Royal Free Hospital'. It should be investigated by the CQC.
