My first visit to the Pre assessement clinic at Orpington and it was a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and welcoming, explaining what is happening as you go through the different tests,( Best blood test ever, no bruising) they introduce themselves, tell you who you are going to see next.
The whole atmosphere was calming. Staff obviously like working here and that comes over to the patients.The only thing that can be improved is for the appointment letter to state that once at the clinic you will need to provide a urine sample.
Having "been" before I left work I ended up having to drink 6 cups of water before i could produce a sample.
The team deserve recognition for such an organised and friendly unit.
