My husband was admitted to Leicester royal with stomach pain. Informed he would be going to ward 33, so I left. I was then informed that he was going to LGH ward 29, having had hardly any sleep went to bed early only to be woken by the ambulance men having brought my husband home. No one had contacted me. Also they brought someone else's clothes.
His meds and discharge letter had not been returned. I rang LGH regarding this no one could find them. I then had to ring surgery for another prescription. I then had to ring the LGH again and request that the discharge letter be faxed to them so that the antibiotics which the LGH had prescribed could be issued.
"Lack of communication."
