"Repeated cancellation of my procedure"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

In Febuary 2016 I was informed that I would be put on the waiting list to have a Hartmanns Reversal operation.

A couple of weeks later I was given a date of for June 2016. After consulting the hospital this date was then changed due to me not having enough time to recover before I went on holiday.

My new date was in May 16, but this date was cancelled in early May as BOTH surgeons were on holiday.

I was then given a new date for in June 2016, even though there are notes on my file stating I had to have my operation by the end of May to recover for my holiday.

The next date was in September 2016. I found out this had been cancelled on last week. This was cancelled due to a cancer patient needing my place. I have no problems with this decision.

I was then given the date of mid-September, this has again been cancelled as the surgeon is again on holiday.

And guess what they can't give me a new date.
