"Colonoscopy"

About: St Mary's Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had a second Colonscopy, the first one four years ago. On this occassion however I was slightly more anxious that previously and was nervous that I would feel more pain than on my first time. However, I was quickly put at ease by the two nurses and the consultation who carried out the Colonscopy and with minimum pain and fuss it was all done in little under 15 minutes with just some discomfort and no pain invovled. Afterwards I was well looked after in the recovery room with tea and biscuits and left after around 30 minutes. Couldn. t have been happier and well done to the endoscopy staff and the consultant.
