I found myself needing to go to a&e after arriving back from a flight at Stansted. I arrived at Liverpool Street Free getting the train, I was in a crippling horrific state of anxiety, it was absolutely unbearable. It had been building for days and I hadn't slept or eaten for 72 hours +. Despite my illness not being life threatening, I was in a desperate state, and needed help. The staff at the reception were quick and helpful, and I was seen rather quickly. After a discussion with a doctor and a nurse I was given some medication to take the edge off the effects, which enabled me to get myself home. I was extremely scared to take the medication as I've had bad experiences before. The nurse said I could stay in the hospital until it took effect and was comfortable with it. I was very thankful to the staff that day as I thought my life was over! Great hospital, great staff.
"Very thankful to the staff"
