"In patient breast cancer surgery"

The care I have received whilst both an outpatient and in patient involving breast cancer surgery has been excellent. The needs physically, emotionally and psychologically of myself and my family were very well catered for. Staff from all disciplines were kind and caring. Communication was thorough and informative. Staff clearly cared, were patient and understanding and were focused on the needs of patients. Specifically the nursing staff with plastic, reconstruction and breast surgery expertise were invaluable in ensuring that my treatment and progress post operatively was as it should have been. My journey has been so much enhanced by key individuals who took the time to care. The standard of the facilities was good, cleanliness and comfort good and the food superb. The culture of the team is to be applauded, I am extremely grateful to everyone involved and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Having experienced care in other facilities my only regret is that others do not deliver to the same high standard as the team at Nuffield Brentwood.
