Dear Anonymous,

Sorry that your mother had such a poor experience in the A&E department, on admission patients are triaged (assessed) and the doctor will review. We are sorry that you were in the department for a long time. We are working hard to ensure patients are seen treated and discharged or admitted in a safe reasonable time (within four hours of presentation). Unfortunately the department has been incredibly busy which may result in prolonged waits, this however should have been communicated to you and your mother.

We hope that your mother's bloods are stable following the adjustment of her warfarin.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, we do take your concerns seriously and share these with the team.

Kindest Regards

Kelly Harwood
