"Fantastic experience"

I had been putting off dealing with my cataract problem for a long time because like most people I was very nervous at the prospect. I was persuaded by my sister to get a referral from my optician to spamedica at Newton le willows as she had recently had both eyes done and she assured me that I would be OK. How right she was. Within a few weeks I attended the clinic for my pre op assessment feeling very nervous. I was seen by a succession of very professional and caring staff all of whom were informative and caring putting me at ease. I was informed that sedation would be available on the day should I need it which at this point I felt was likely. On the day of the surgery I was cared for so well that I felt relaxed and confident. I didn't request sedation and went through the proceedure without a problem totally pain free. After four weeks during which I was required to apply drops daily I attended the clinic for a final assessment and was discharged. My eyesight is now great and I am so pleased I found this place. I cannot thank them all enough.
