The staff need to be made aware of the equality act.
There is some staff who discriminatr against patients who are disabled or unable to communicate their needs. These patients should not be treated the same way as patients who have no mobility issues and can communicate their needs My father has been in ward A14 and the staff have neglected him because he has been unable to communicate his needs due to having speech difficulties and unable to use the bell.
