"2 week hospital stay at the RBH in August 2016"

I was admitted to the RBH in early August 2016 having never really stayed in a hospital in my life before. I had a fairly severe pneumonia and was very unwell for about the first week and improved gradually during the second week. I spent most of my time on Kennet Ward. I can honestly say that all of the medical team could not have been more pleasant, caring, professional and effective in their work despite being under pressure due to limited resources. I'm convinced that this consistent approach by the team helped me to get discharged a few days sooner than might otherwise have been possible, and I want to thank each and every one of them. Thank you so much for all of the good work that you do.
