I spent 13nights at the Hospital due to the fact my baby was transverse. The Antenatal care received was very good, they booked me in for extra scans, and although the waiting times were long on some occasions, the service was overall very good. I had been informed that at 38weeks I would be admitted if my baby had not turned and I was after my 38week appointment. We paid for a private suite the Rothschild Room which was £200 and something a night, but we felt that is was worth it as I knew I was going to be in for at least a week and I'm an older mum and it was nice to have the privacy and my own bathroom. The food menu was good, could have done with a bit more choice for Supper, however I thought the food was tasty and a very good choice for breakfast and lunch. I have to say given that I was in for 13 days I saw an awful lot of Midwives and student Midwives, and I can honestly say they were all really lovely and professional, and always made me feel comfortable and that nothing was too much trouble. I had to have a caesarean in the end and again the theatre staff were also amazing. I was a nervous wreck but they all went out of their way to reassure me and made me feel so calm. I can't thank this hospital enough and I'm sorry its taken me so long to write this review but I've been a bit busy !!! A special mention to the Sister and midwife who were so brilliant and honest with me. Also a student midwife and all of them that looked after me. Thank you so much even the domestics that served the food and cleaned my room were lovely.
