"Knee arthroscopy - day surgery"

Pre op and op itself was good - the anaesthetist was really good in discussing the various options available. The downside was post op care where the nurse was looking after too many patients. I needed to go to the toilet and this basic human need was I felt ignored. In desperation when the need to urinate was very urgent and I had already waited a significant time I agreed to use a bed pan but then was left to get on with it. Felt abandoned and a total loss of dignity.
