While on holiday in the area my daughter acquired an injury that became infected. After calling 111 and assuming We would be referred to out of hours GP service, we were actually told to attend A&E. I didn't feel entirely comfortable with this as it was neither accident or emergency in my mind, but was fairly urgent. Anyway after arriving at approx10:30 PM , my daughter was seen and treated by an emergency nurse practitioner ( who was lovely) all in about 45 minutes. It's always worse when you're away from home and things happen , but I couldn't fault the service we received. Thankyou.
