"was finally leaving"

About: Selly Oak Hospital (Acute)

(as the patient),

What I liked

was finally leaving

What could be improved

appreciate it is a old hospital but there is no need to keep the dust and dirt to add chatacter.heard nurses calling other nurses, even carried on when knew i was listening.was left with no diginity, was left dirty, was left with open wound for a day after dresong was partially removed in morning.no one listened to me ,had a staff nurse calling me a baby, had drainage tube fitted wrong after being kicked out by accident, told staff about this and i was wrong.prevented me from walking and put me in pain.decided to discharge myself and hey presto tube removed ,no pain and can walk, but what do i know!! does it really take 5 hours to draw up discharge papers?? why does it take 3 nurses to look at stitches to be removed and all decide they dont know how,no names displayed on uniforms,no idea what rank uniforms are.by far the worst hospital i have attended, fart track prescription takes a hour? fast-track so much easier for you to give me name of prescrtprion and my gp will hand it over in minutes.oh yes you lost my prescrition drugs that i brought in,you did replace them but i missed a few tablets.i gained medical problems in there including infections, henc i needed antibiotics from pharmacy.hygiene was poor to when a fellow patient is soiling the bed and floors of the bathrooms, patients have to inform staff.

Anything else?

consultant was fanstastic, very refreshing and honest.
