"My great new knee at the Whittington"

I was recently in the Whittington hospital for a knee replacement operation. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the surgery team, the sister and staff of Thorogood Ward and the physiotherapists, all of whom were friendly, kind and helpful.

I have read reports on this site complaining about the food, but I would have to disagree. While not "Cordon Bleu", it was of a good standard, and seemed well balanced and nutritious. Thanks to everyone involved in making my stay a pleasant one.
