"5 borough partnership recovery team (warrington)"

About: North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

(as a friend),

I am appalled at the treatment or should I say lack of it my friend has received from Warrington recovery team. Her requests for information have been nothing but ignored. In my opinion I would deem the lack of care to be negligible.

I believe the service has left my friend with more problems than originally needed support for. The lack of follow up, the lack of following through actions which the team said they would.

These are just the start of a team which deal with vulnerable people. It's really sad to see that a team can get away with such treatment.

Thank you for raising your concerns about the care offered to your friend from the Warrington Recovery team. We obviously strive to offer the best service we can and take posts like the yours very seriously as patient opinion is paramount.

In order to further investigate these concerns I would be grateful if you could, in the first instance, contact our PALS office (Patients Advocacy and Liaison Service) on 01925 664825 (Ext 3525) to discuss the matter further

Thank you for the response. I have only just seen the comments hence the delay. I will be in touch shortly. I do however work mon-fri 9-5 and with commuting I have to leave the house early, it may therefore be easier for me to contact you via email outlining concerns in more detail for you to look into.

I have tried to contact PALS on couple occasions through the week but there had been no answer. I am restricted from calling from work due to workload demands and company policy. I will be in touch some way shortly.

Hi, I apologise for not being in touch. However my friend has asked I do not pursue this any further. I respect her wishes and understand the reasons behind her not wanting me to take this further.

My friend is concerned about it affecting any future care by being identified etc. Quite frankly I would possibly feel the same. Whilst I remain disgusted I want to respect my friends wishes. I just hope there aren't others out there experiencing the care my friend has.

As someone who does not experience mental health issues I am so glad I don't as would not like to go through the current system in the area.
