Over a period of a few months, the care I have received has been non existent. I am extremely suicidal and left with no support. I have requested a change of CPN as the one I am supposed to work with in my opinion talks over me, patronises me and treats me like something they have stood in. Today I have met with a clinical lead who told me CPN's aren't there for me to talk to and that CMHT are unable to support me.
I have been told that they will look at other places to support me, I have no idea what these places are and I don't think they do either. Even if they knew where to refer me I will have a lengthy waiting time due to the huge number of people on waiting lists. Why is Dial House the only place that seems to understand. This charity is hugely over subscribed and under funded, meaning the likelyhood of me being able to visit very slim. This leaves me with no support, with the police and crisis team being contacted repeatedly by friends and help lines, who are concerned about me, and nothing being put in place to help me out of this dark place.
I am beyond disappointed with the mental health service and fear for my own safety, yet my cries for help are being ignored and attitudes of MH professionals only make things worse. I am not exaggerating when I say I believe I will have seriously harmed myself or taken my life before anyone tries to support me.
