I was expecting to be treated with some distain, being as my illness was self inflicted.
From admission I was moved through several departments, due to the difficult bed management, I assume!
I eventually was put on ward 42, beds 1-6
The professionalism and caring attitude on that ward was absolutely exceptional.
I would like to thank Sarah in particular, it was obvious to me how busy she was. yet every time I needed to ask her for advice or even sometimes comfort, I would ask "when you are not so busy, could I have a word"
She was never too busy!
Sarah made me fell well, she listened too me, she treated me better than anything I could have expected....anywhere else!
Sarah who worked on ward 42 beds1-6 has a very special place in my heart and I think her employers should be told.
Regards
"I was treated for exessive drinking"
