"Excellent care on Ward 20 Day Surgery"

Outstanding care throughout my stay. Welcomed to my room on arrival and promptly admitted by my named nurse. Excellent explanation provided of the procedure. I was very anxious and Gwyneth provided excellent reassurance including remaining with me in the anaesthetic room. The ODP Graham also provided excellent reassurance during induction. All staff showed outstanding care and compassion as well demonstrating appropriate consideration of my dignity and respect. My surgeon Miss Whitaker provided clear and concise explanation of the procedure and instilled great confidence. Despite it not being the easiest of procedures, Miss Whitaker was successful in completing the procedure via key hole surgery which meant I was able to go home the same day rather than face a longer stay in hospital. I couldn't recommend this hospital and particular this ward more highly.
