"Extra care for dementia patients"

About: Bristol Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

It was Bristol Royal Infirmary They were absolutely brilliant. They took control I had my personal dementia card with me when I arrived I was time traveling and could not remember any 'relatives' They asked permission to look for me, contacted my son abroad who got the next flight over. The whole time I was in hospital they were amazing not just for me but for others on the ward who had dementia providing extra care and and staff time when ever needed. They really were wonderful.

I had wanted to thank the staff but did not know who to write to so thank you for passing on my thanks. I hope saying it more publicly lets more people know how exceptional the BRI was for those of us with dementia>
