"Poor communication and confusion at Northern General"

About: Northern General Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I went to Northern General for treatment for my stomach, and stayed on Firth 6. Taking that they were very busy, I was treated well. Though I would have liked more information of what was happening.

After the doctor asked me to come home, and have treatment and be seen within a week, I am sorry to say after waiting a week still in pain, I phoned up only to find out no one knew anything about me. No scan and no notes on my file and still trying to get this sorted out. I think I should have stayed where I was, it is very worrying that as far as I can see someone has made a mistake. I feel they are passing the buck between the ward, doctors and secretaries. Thanks to the nurses on Firth 6.
