I broke my hip in a fall at home in the early hours of a Sunday morning in May.
I was operated on nine hours later and spent four further days in the neck of femur unit, returning home on the Friday morning.
The care I received from doctors, nurses and therapists was just fantastic - I really can't praise everyone highly enough.
That care continued once I was home, and having been passed from hospital physiotherapy services to the
Liverpool South Community Physiotherapy Service my progress has continued - seven weeks after the accident I am able to walk outside, if a little slowly, with the aid of a stick, and resume many of my normal activities.
Thank you all so much - the Enhanced Hip Fracture programme has done so much for me at a difficult time.
