"hospital admission"

Admitted as an emergency for surgery. I felt that the gynae team at east Surrey are very unprofessional. Made to wait around for 6hrs with no decision being made. Contacted PALS and finally a treatment plan decided. Kept nil by mouth for 2 days and then at very late at night on the second day informed surgery cancelled. Gynae SHO turns up and gives me a form stating I can leave but must sign the form. I advised them that they would be responsible should anything happen and they said okay. They were quite dismissive of my concerns especially as I had been told surgery was urgent. Told me to come back to emergency department if I became unwell. I thought this was a terrible uncaring attitude, and showed Poor communication skills.

On the other hand, staff during the day were fantastic.
